CLYMER - The big story of the night for Clymer wasn't the score in its meeting with North Collins.

The outcome was determined early on as the Lady Pirates coasted to a 67-19 win in Division 4 action, but it turned out to be an milestone evening for Dani Reinwald.

The senior star became the seventh girl in Clymer history to hit the 1,000-point mark and she did it in style. Reinwald drained a 3-point basket with time expiring in the first half, ending her remarkable night with 27 points for a career total of 1,002.

She also completed the double-double with a team-leading 13 rebounds.

"She's a great player," said Clymer coach Scott Neckers. "It was nice for her to get that (record) out of the way and she was able to do it all in one half."

Also for the Lady Pirates (5-1, 9-2), Christy Reinwald netted 11 points, Miranda Marucci had 10 boards and Marissa Trisket added nine.

Christine Blidy topped North Collins with seven points.
