Linda Elizabeth Phipps Griswold, 74, of Sherman, N.Y., formerly of Erie, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at St. Vincent Health Center.
She was born in Erie, Pa., on Nov. 14, 1938, daughter of the late Lindsey Phipps and Elizabeth Rooney. She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School. She was employed as an attendant/overseer for home health care and had previously owned Country Kitchen Restaurant in New York. Linda enjoyed cooking and loved her dog, Miles.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Shirley Bell and Lynn Cedeno (Jose), all of Erie and Carrie Ennis of Celoron, N.Y.; a special friend, Carl of Sherman, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
