Joyce Annette Weborg of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Celoron, passed away Jan. 10, 2013.
She was born in Jamestown, N.Y., to Ebba Palm See and Leo See on Jan. 22, 1924, and lived in Celoron most of her life.
At the age of 18, she eloped with Dean Weborg. This unconventional start made for a very successful union and they were married for 65 years until Dean's death in 2008.
Joyce Annette Weborg
She will be remembered most as a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandma and friend. She was a wonderful cook and everyday dinners, family events and picnics were warm, filled with love, laughter and always too much food.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; and a brother, Donald See of Bemus Point.
Joyce is survived by two daughters: Lee Ann (Don) Berns of Sun City Center, Fla., and Kim Annette (Paul) Weborg-Benson of Mayville, N.Y; three grandchildren: Timothy (Kara) Berns of Springfield, N.H., Hunter Weborg Benson of Cleveland, Ohio, and Cassidy Annette Benson of Mayville; and one great-grandson, Matthew Dean Berns of Springfield, N.H.
A memorial service for the family will be held in the late spring. Friends can offer condolences and sign an online guestbook at www.zipperersfuneralhome.com.
Memorials may be sent to the Celoron United Methodist Church.
