The Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES Adult & Community Education Division will offer an evening Home Health Aide Program beginning Jan. 29 for those interested in pursuing a career in home and personal care.
A mandatory orientation/TABE (Test for Adult Basic Education) is scheduled for today from 4-8 p.m. at the Jamestown Health Career Training Center, which is located at the Jones Memorial Health Center in Jamestown. Classes will take place Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-9 p.m. from Jan. 29 to March 5 at the Jones Memorial Health Center.
The program will encompass 80 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours of supervised, hands-on training in a clinical environment. The registration fee is $800. Financial aid may be available for qualifying students.
