Two City Men Face Drug Charges Following Executed Search Warrant

Two Jamestown men are being held in city jail after a Thursday evening drug bust.

Carlos J. Velez Jr., 23, and Felix Rodriguez-Gomez, 27, both of Jamestown, were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following the 6:30 p.m. bust.

Jamestown police, with the assistance of the SWAT team and the New York State Police's Community Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at 734 E. Second St. after an investigation led them to the location.

Investigators located Velez and Rodriguez-Gomez inside with a large quanity of cash and heroin. Both are awaiting arraignment on the charges.
