How times have changed. When I was a student at Jamestown High School I took a Retailing class, Russell Abbott was the teacher. One of our assignment was to do a sales demonstration. I asked Mr Abbott if I could bring my new model 37 Ithaca shotgun for my sales demonstration. He said he would have to check with the principal if it was OK. He got permission from Principal Mead Anderson. The day I did my demonstration I brought the shotgun to Anderson office. I open the box assembled the gun for him. He admired it. I took it apart put it back in the box, kept it in his office until second period, picked it up took it to class and did my demo. Then returned the gun back to his office. The day I did my assignment was November 22, 1963. I think a lot of us remember that day. Boy have times changed!
