Alice Danielson, 87, a resident of the Cambridge Home in Warren, and formerly of the Youngsville, Pa., area, passed away on Friday evening, Jan. 4, 2013, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa.
Alice was born Jan. 25, 1925, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of the late Albert and Leah (Main) Jones. She was a graduate of Youngsville High School, a member of the Berea Lutheran Church in Wrigtsville, and very much enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her seven children: Judith (Douglas) Phanco, Fresno, Calif.; Dennis (Janet) Danielson, Waterford, Pa.; Lois (Albert) Scott, Bear Lake, Pa.; Conrad Danielson and companion Bonita, of Sugar Grove, Pa.; John Danielson and companion Denise of Pittsfield, Pa.; Richard Danielson and companion Sandy of Spring Creek, Pa.; and Paul (Jackie) Danielson of Henniker, N.H.; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Danielson on March 19, 1986, a brother Francis Jones and one sister, Jane Allen.
Friends will be received one hour prior to a funeral and committal service that will be held at noon on Tuesday at the Berea Lutheran Church in Wrightsville, with the Rev. Mark Fischer, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Lutheran Cemetery.
