Pleas And Sentences

LITTLE VALLEY - Lori Pettit Reiman, Cattaraugus County district attorney, reported the following activity in Cattaraugus County Court on Monday, Dec. 17:

Jack E. Doxey, 37, of Ceres, N.Y., was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent to an indictment charging him with driving while intoxicated, a class E felony; driving while ability impaired, a violation; failure to signal a turn, expired insurance, unregistered motor vehicle, improper plates and operating out of class, all violations. On March 27, 2012, in Olean, Doxey was pulled over while allegedly intoxicated. The case was adjourned for motions.

Kostas E. Katsigiannis, 60, of Portville was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent to an indictment charging him with second-degree forgery, a class D felony. On July 10, 2012, in Portville, he allegedly forged a check. The case has been adjourned for motions.

Nicholas G. Harper, 34, of Olean was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent to an indictment charging him with third-degree criminal sexual act and failure to register with the state Sex Offender Registry, both class E felonies. On June 28, 2012, Harper allegedly engaged in oral sexual conduct with another person without the person's consent. It is also alleged he failed to notify the state Sex Offender Registry between January and July 2012 of changes. The case has been adjourned for motions.

Derick E. Allshouse, 20, of Olean, presently incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail, was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent to an indictment charging him with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class E felony; and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. On March 17, 2012, Allshouse allegedly had a stolen debit card and stole property. The case has been adjourned for motions.

Dustin D. Jones, 38, of Delevan was sentenced to six months in jail and five years probation for his conviction of third-degree attempted burglary, a class E felony. Between June 2, 2012, and June 18, 2012, Jones tried to enter a building in Yorkshire with the intent to ocmmit a crime.

Trudy L. Oldshield, 37, of Salamanca was sentenced to five years probation, a $1,000 fine and her driver's license was revoked for her conviction of driving while intoxicated, a class E felony. On April 14, 2012, in Mansfield, she was pulled over for driving with a blood-alcohol content of .20 percent.

Prinston D. Blount, 24, of Jamestown, presently incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail, was sentenced as a predicate felon to two years in the state Department of Corrections to be followed by two years of post-release supervision for his conviction of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony. On May 20, 2012, in Persia, Blount was found with more than 500 milligrams of cocaine.
