Forestville Order of Eastern Star 247 met at the Masonic Hall, Main Street, Forestville with Mary Prue, matron; and Francis Petersen, patron, presiding.
Amendments to the constitution were considered and voted upon. Collection was taken for the veterans at Buffalo VA, which John Olszewski would deliver for their Christmas celebration. Poinsettias and greeting cards would be delivered to nearby and distant shut-in members of Forestville OES.
The Jan. 1 meeting is cancelled. The next meeting of regular chapter will be Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
On Jan. 8, the Forestville Past Matrons will meet at 6 p.m. at the Masonic Hall for dessert and cleaning the storage area.
On Jan. 12 a public ham dinner will be served at the Hanover Lodge 152 Masonic Hall, Main Street, Forestville. Donation is $8. For more info, call 965-2064 or 785-2520.
