Lakewood United Methodist Church, 164 Shadyside Ave., Lakewood, extends an invitation to the community to attend a prayer seminar on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Topics are Prayer Basics and Jesus Our Model. Seminar Speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Roy Miller, founder and director of The Better Place Inc. The Better Place is a ministry with a three-fold mission; to equip the church to be a house of prayer for the nations, to assist pastors with sabbatical experiences, and to facilitate the networking of the church for transformational revival.
