DMV To Open For Snowmobiles
MAYVILLE - The Mayville office of the Department of Motor Vehicles will be open today from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. to process snowmobile registrations. Westfield Sets Rec Activities
WESTFIELD - The Westfield Recreation Department will host several activities. Walkers are welcome to use the Eason Hall auditorium when it is available. Adult coed volleyball takes place on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at WACS half gym. Pilates classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5 p.m. at the Eason Hall. Youth job referral services are available. Post Offices Open New Year's Eve
All area post offices will be open New Year's Eve, Monday, Dec. 31, but most will close at noon except the Fredonia post office, 21 Day St., and Jamestown post office, 300 E. Third St., which will remain open until 5 p.m. Regular mail delivery for Dec. 31 will be unaffected by the change. Mail deposited in collection boxes will be retrieved by the last established collection time or by noon, what ever is earlier. All post offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 1, and only Express Mail will be delivered. Regular mail delivery and post office hours will resume Wednesday, Jan. 2. Grange To Serve Pancake Brunch
SOUTH DAYTON - Villenova Grange 604 will serve public pancake brunch at the hall, at Balcom Corners, the intersection of Route 83 and Route 322 in South Dayton on Jan. 6 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Large and small portions as well as take-outs are available. Driver Safety Program Set
LITTLE VALLEY - Little Valley United Methodist Church will be hosting an AARP Driver Safety Class on Monday, Jan. 7 and Tuesday, Jan. 8. The sessions will be held in the fellowship hall at 109 Court St. Classes will run from 6-9 p.m. each evening. Participants must attend both sessions to receive credit for the course. The cost is $17 for AARP members and $19 for non-members payable by check or money order to AARP. Drivers of all ages are welcome to attend. Course participants may be eligible to receive a discount on their auto insurance premium and a reduction of up to four points on their driving record.
