ST. BONAVENTURE - Clutch foul shooting inside the final minute gave Randolph a boys basketball victory in the Cattaraugus County IAABO Tournament at the Reilly Center on Thursday night.

Two foul shots by Bryce Morrison and another by Mitch Maycock gave the Cardinals (4-2) a 42-40 win over Olean Bishop Walsh in the first round.

The win means a second meeting for the Cardinals against Portville for the title at 8 p.m. today. Portville defeated Allegany-Limestone, 60-48, and has beaten Randolph earlier in the season.

Morrison's two free throws with less than a minute left put Randolph ahead of Walsh, 41-40, after a 3-pointer put Walsh briefly into the lead.

Then Maycock sank a free throw in the final seconds to seal the deal for the Cardinals, who made 11-of-15 from the foul line while Walsh was good on only 6-of-10.

Morrison led the Cardinals with 16 points followed by Nate Beaver with 12 and Maycock with nine.

Morrison also added four steals while Cody Oldro had six rebounds and Beaver five.

Greer and Chapman did the most damage for Walsh as Greer had 16 points and Chapman added 14.
