To the Readers' Forum:
I wholeheartedly agree with the idea that the area wanted to be used by a used car dealership in Lakewood is not the brightest idea anyone's had, and why the judge isn't listening to the public is beyond me.
I hope the public remembers him next election time. The area is too small for them and the carpeting company and any other small business surrounding them.
Lakewood officials need to be applauded for voting No. There are several parcels of land that are independent of any businesses that wouldn't be choked by this dealership - what about the former Yum Yum's eatery and/or de-wooded area around there? They're just sitting there doing nothing, and are bigger.
