With 6,000 square feet of meeting space and an executive board room, the Ramada Jamestown Hotel has plenty of room to host events in downtown Jamestown.
That is why the new operator of the hotel is inviting community organizations to check out the special deals being offered.
''I have so much space for community organizations, which is why there are special deals for group meetings,'' said David Stahl, Ramada Jamestown Hotel operator.

Stahl, who is Davalls Hospitality Management Company president and chief executive officer, said the Ramada is Jamestown's only full-service hotel.
''We have all new beds, carpets, furniture, a new lobby, the ballrooms have all have been redone,'' he said. ''We have an indoor pool, a gym and a lot of meeting space and an executive board room.''
Stahl said, under previous management, $1.8 million was invested in renovations to the 145-room hotel. He said future plans include more upgrades to spruce up the property, which could lead to the bar and restaurant being open in May. He said even though the franchise for the hotel has changed several times, it will continue to be affiliated with Ramada.
Prior to taking over operation, Stahl said the previous owner of the hotel, Milind Oza, took him through and showed him the facility.
''He went through everything with me. He was very nice about it,'' he said.
Oza lost the property after failing to reorganize after declaring Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2010. The property is now owned by the State Bank of Texas, which purchased it during a foreclosure auction held in November.
Stahl has been managing hotels for 18 years. He also runs a Days Inn and Super 8 in Batavia, a Motel 6 in Niagara Falls, an Econo Lodge in Conewango and will operate another hotel, which is currently under construction.
''I started right out of college in an entry-level position and have worked my way up from there,'' he said. ''I enjoy what I do. Every day is different.''
Stahl, who is a native Western New Yorker, lives in Waynesville and has owned a beach house in Chautauqua County for eight years.
''I love Chautauqua Lake. It is beautiful,'' he said.
