City of Jamestown firefighters were dispatched just after 1 p.m. on Monday for reports of a structure fire, at 86 Colfax St. First responders arriving on location reported smoke coming from the attic and that everyone in the house had been evacuated. A ladder truck was used to vent the roof. Firemen were on scene for 45 minutes. An off-shift call-back of nine firefighters and one command officer was issued.
