On Saturday night Southwestern-Maple Grove defeated Cleveland Hill-JFK, 4-0. In Western New York High School Club Hockey League action.
Andy Farnham scored the opening goal six minutes in on a power play from Ryan Schutte and Curtis Carlson.
Two minutes later, Branden Decker found the back of the net on the power play from Schutte and Tommy Gerace.
Near the end of the first period, Thomas Sirianno chipped in a rebound to put SW-MG up, 3-0. Schutte and Farnham had the assists.
Alex Carlson scored in the third period from Elizabeth Gerace to finish off the scoring.
Noah Weinstein played outstanding in goal helping SW-MG to kill off all 12 of their penalties.
SW-MG will play next on Wednesday in the Christmas Tournament against City Honors-O'Hara at 2 p.m. at Leisure Rink.
