BANTAMS

The Jamestown Lakers Bantam team went 2-0 at home last weekend to improve its record to 11-1-2 in Western New York League play.

On Saturday, the Lakers defeated the Buffalo Bisons 11-3 behind the goaltending of Chad Niver.

Joey Gerace scored four goals, with two being unassisted. One was assisted by Cole Munson and the fourth was assisted by Munson and Jacob Zwieg.

Michael Mammoser recorded the hat trick with Griffin Noon assisting on two goals and his third was unassisted.

Other Jamestown goals were scored by Zwieg unassisted, Munson from Gerace, and Mike Derby from Zach Levenstein and Tommy Muecke.

Sunday saw the Lakers winning, 4-1, over the Niagara Coyotes.

Derby tallied the first goal from Jarred Ristau and Gerace and then Mammoser scored from Noon.

Gerace scored the final two goals with the first from Trevor Dykstra and the second from Jake Tota and Ristau.

Chad Niver was in goal for the Lakers.
