CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Michael R. Shubert, 56, of Dunkirk was charged with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se .08 percent BAC or higher and speeding. Deputies on Wednesday observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Lake Avenue in the town of Portland. Shubert was stopped and found to be the operator and intoxicated. He was issued traffic tickets and is to appear in Portland Town Court at a later date.
Brian M. Lesmes, 26, of Mullet Street, Dunkirk was charged with trespass and second-degree harassment. Deputies on Wednesday were called to an address in the town of Pomfret for an alleged fight. After an investigation, Lesmes was taken into custody. He was arraigned in Town of Pomfret Court and released to appear at a later date. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the village of Fredonia police department.
Jessica A. Zielinski, 40, of Stockton was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and uninsured vehicle. Police on Thursday stopped a vehicle driven by Zielinski in the town of Stockton for not having insurance on file. Investigation found she also had a suspended driver's incense. She was arrested and later released. Zielinski is scheduled to appear in Stockton Town Court next month.
