FREDONIA - Randolph's boys and Forestville's girls each came away a 3-1 winner, Thursday in Division 2 bowling action at Lucky Lanes.

On the boys side, Randolph (15-13) pulled off a bit of an upset over Forestville (21-10), thanks to a one-pin victory in the second game.

Randolph put together its best effort of the season with a 884-843-854-2,581 to Forestville's 931-842-785-2,558.

"We had a really good first game," Forestville coach Todd Langworthy said. "That was a really good game for us. The second game was average, which we lost by a pin.

"This is the best Randolph has bowled all season," he continued. "Their guys were real consistent from top to bottom."

Marcus Miller led Randolph with a 224-563 while Dalton Taylor added a 552 series.

Brad Dillenburg tallied a 207-210-596 to lead the Hornets. John Murphy added a 223-581 and Ryan Forbes had a 209 series.

Emily Dillenburg once again led the Lady Hornets with a 218 game and 578 series.

Forestville (22-2) rolled a 597-538-583-1,718 to top Randolph's 525-599-481-1,625.

"Randolph has a good team," Langworthy added. "They shot a good game in that second game and we shot a poor one. It was a bit of a wake-up call for the girls."

Courtney Eberle was the top bowler for Randolph (12-8) with a 428 series.
