ASHVILLE - Clifford R. "Cliff" Keith, 82, of 5473 Route 474, Ashville, N.Y., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday (Dec. 18, 2012), at the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk.
Cliff was born Nov. 16, 1930, in Randolph, N.Y., the son of the late George and Caroline Rhodes Keith.
He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army as an engineer.

Cliff retired from Dahlstrom Manufacturing, where he was a brake opera-tor for 40 years.
Cliff was a former member of the American Legion Post 777 in Celoron.
He enjoyed bowling, deer hunting and dancing.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Applebee) Keith, whom he married July 8, 1979, in Panama, N.Y.; three sons: Mike Keith of Jamestown, Roy Keith of Little Valley, and Larry Keith of Bliss, N.Y.; two daughters: Patty Lange of Delevan, and Laurie Strunk of Delevan; three stepchildren: Timothy Brightman of Cheyenne, Wyo., Mark Brightman of Warren, Pa., and Jenise Brightman Crawford of N. Richland Hills, Texas; two brothers: George Keith of Salamanca, N.Y., and Don Keith of Jamestown; 21 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Farlin, Dick and David Keith; five sisters: Alma Meacham, Ila Meacham, Betty Meacham, Wilma Reed and Gwendolyn Serna.
The funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. The Rev. Mark Parsons of the Mayville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Clymer Center Cemetery.
No visitation will be observed.
