JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Blaine B. Dunn, 28, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police were dispatched Monday for a report of a man with a weapon. Upon arrival, officers found Dunn in possession of an unlawfully modified assault weapon. He was charged and taken to the Jamestown City Jail.
Courtney Edwards, 38, of Jamestown was charged as a fugitive from justice and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after she was pulled over Tuesday on West Sixth Street for speeding. A computer check showed her driver's license was suspended and that she was a fugitive from justice from Pennsylvania. Edwards was wanted on a charge of burglary from Warren, Pa. She was arrested and issued traffic tickets. She is scheduled for an extradition hearing in Chautauqua County Court later.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
Richard W. Horton, 43, of Great Valley was charged Dec. 13 for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in Great Valley. Horton was seen driving on Martin Road and failed to dim his high beams to oncoming traffic. The plate lamp also was not working on the vehicle. When pulled over, police report Horton appeared intoxicated and he was given a field sobriety test. He was then charged, at which point a small bag of what appeared to be marijuana was found. He is charged with driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to dim high beams, no plate lamp, consumption of alcohol in a vehicle. Horton will be in court later.
Gene Seagren, 56, of Bradford, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood-alcohol content .08 percent or higher, failure to use designated lane and driving on the shoulder. On Dec. 14, officers report seeing Seagren fail to main his lane and cross over to the hazard line on Interstate 86 in Carrollton. Seagren was taken to the Salamanca Police Department for processing and released to a third party. He will be in Carrollton Town Court later.
Luke S. Stephen, 32, of Little Valley was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and third-degree assault. Stephen was arrested on a warrant issued from Little Valley Town Court charging him with criminal contempt and assault stemming from a domestic incident Nov. 7. He was arraigned in Little Valley Town Court and will be in court later.
James F. Skinner Jr., 26, of Portville was charged with third-degree assault after an incident Sunday in Hinsdale. Skinner was processed and will be in Hinsdale Town Court later.
Nicole A. Pierce, of Salamanca was arrested on a felony criminal mischief complaint following a May 24 incident. Police say Pierce was involved in a domestic dispute and broke two working televisions. She was arraigned in Cattaraugus County Court and released on her own recognizance. She will be in court later.
