In?Defense Of Ambassador Susan Rice

December 19, 2012
The Post-Journal

To the Readers' Forum:

A prominent Republican senator, in reference to Amb. Rice possibly selected as sec. of state by the president, claimed Susan Rice was "not very bright."

This as a result of Amb. Rice repeating what the intelligence agency reported to her following the Bengazi attack.

Amb. Rice did nothing more than Connie Rice did when she reported the intelligence surrounding the missing WMD'S in Iraq. When asked if the two issues were similar in nature, "that" Republican senator quickly defended Connie Rice.

As to the "not very bright" claim, Amb. Rice has served in two administrations, held numerous security posts, was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship, is the first African American woman to hold her current U.N. post.

The senator responsible for the accusations against Susan Rice is Sen. John McCain, who in my humble opinion has a problem with the results of the past two presidential elections. Susan Rice graciously removed her name from consideration for the sec. of state post.
