The Jamestown Police Department is investigating a suspicious man seen talking to children near Clinton V Bush Elementary School in the city last week.

Capt. Robert Samuelson of the Jamestown Police Department said in a news release a male in his 50s was seen in a tan colored Toyota RAV 4 with tinted windows talking to kids. The incident took place near the intersection of Willard and Anderon streets, a couple of blocks away from the elementary school.

The man was last seen driving slowly on Anderson Street towards Crestline Drive.

Samuelson said it appears no crime has been committed, although police are seeking the identification of the male for questioning.

The male is described as having a chubby face, gray hair, balding, wearing a plaid button shirt and holding a brown Chihuahua dog as he spoke to the kids.

Information regarding the incident was forwarded to police last week.
