ERIE - The Jamestown Raiders (7-5) had a tough outing on Sunday, falling to the Fairview Tigers, 5-2 in Lake Shore Hockey League action.
The Tigers posted four straight goals in the second period before Collin Abbott connected on an unassisted goal near the end of the period.
With nine minutes to go, Rick Hasselman trimmed the lead to 4-2 on a rebound goal off a shot by David Lobb, but the Raiders were unable to close the gap any further.
Danny Farrell made 18 saves for Jamestown as both teams recorded 23 shots on goal.
The Raiders will play a doubleheader on Friday in the Western New York Christmas Tournament in Buffalo.
