Medical Fund Donations Needed
MAYVILLE - A fund has been established by the Hartfield Volunteer Fire Company to cover medical expenses for Pam Smith, who was recently diagnosed with Tarlov Cysts Disease, dilations of nerve root sheaths containing cerebrospinal fluids. The dilations have become large enough to impinge the nerves Because the surgery is intricate and complex, Smith must go to Midwest Neurosurgery in Dallas, Texas. School Board Meets Today
SALAMANCA - The Salamanca City School District Board of Education will meet at 8 a.m. today in the superintendent's office. The public is welcome to attend.
Theta Beta To Meet Thursday
Theta Beta sorority met recently at the home of Mary Rogers. Guest speaker was Bob Rogers, who discussed the many forms of calligraphy. He showed the different pens used and he presented each member with an angel ornament decorated with their name in a different style of calligraphy. Members delivered their Christmas gifts for CASA children. The next meeting will be held Thursday at the home of Judy Roberts. It is the annual Christmas party. All members will be co-hostesses. A gift exchange will be held.
Drum Circle Meets Thursday
LILY DALE - The World Beat Drum Circle will meet at Lily Dale, The Church of the Living Spirit on Cleveland Avenue, corner of Cleveland and Library streets, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. City BPU Board To Meet Friday
The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities has rescheduled its regular monthly meeting to 12:30 p.m. Friday in the Operations Center board room. The meeting had been set for Tuesday. The public is welcome to attend.
Library Board Has Opening
