The man suspected of killing Clymer Schools Superintendent Keith Reed Jr. will be brought before the Chautauqua County Judge on Wednesday morning.
David Foley, Chautauqua County district attorney, said Anthony Robert Taglianetti II, who is facing a second-degree murder charge for the September 21 death of Reed, will appear before County Court Judge John T. Ward at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The ex-Marine, who is still being held in Virginia, will be extradited to the Chautauqua County Jail on Tuesday.
Earlier indications had Taglianetti answering the murder charge before a Clymer town justice. Those plans, however, have since changed. If convicted, Taglianetti faces up to 25 years to life in prison.
There will be a brief question and answer session with Foley and Chautauqua County Sheriff Joe Gerace following Wednesday's proceeding.
