EAST AURORA - The Jamestown Lakers jumped out to a 4-0 first-period lead en route to an 8-1 win over the Aurora Ice on Sunday morning at the Healthy Zone Rink.
Cooper Spielman led the Lakers with two goals and three assists while Trenton Shutters and Chase Jones also scored twice in the win. Will Turner and Jack Brinkley each scored a single goal for the Lakers. Evan Bishop and Turner each had a pair of assists while single helpers went to Jones, Callum Smith, Devin Wolfe, Josh Cooper and Jackson Yost. Aiden Gibbons was the goaltender.

The Southern Tier Storm shut out the Batavia Ramparts, 3-0, behind the goaltending of Raxhel Clark.
Rebecca Rothleder, Jade Swick and Emma Ferrick scored the goals while Kaylee Marsfelder had three assists.
