The Jamestown YMCA will provide full days of activities for children 5 to 12 years of age for the upcoming school holidays in December.
Age-appropriate activities are planned each program day starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. such as swimming, arts and crafts, gym games, group activities, games and cooking. Program fees for full days of care at the YMCA are $24 per child for YMCA members and $32 for potential members.
Each day will feature a theme. Wednesday, Dec. 26 is Snowed In Fun with swimming, sports and crafts. Thursday, Dec. 27, the group will go to the Prendergast Library for stories and crafts. Friday, Dec. 28, is a trip to the Fenton Museum. Monday, Dec. 31, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. is the group's New Years Eve party with swimming, sports, party games and crafts. Each day, children should bring a lunch, a morning and afternoon snack, swim suit and towel.
