Summit Wealth Management advisers not only improve the look of their customer's financial portfolio, but their own building.
In partnership with the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation and the city of Jamestown, Summit Wealth Management Inc. officials have completed a $30,000 facade restoration project.
Doug Schutte and Luke Buehler, Summit Wealth Management owners, said the restorations included a new sign and awning, drainage work, a new brick curb walkway and acid washing and repainting the building. The work took about a month and half to complete.

The Jamestown Renaissance Corporation, often in partnership with the city of Jamestown, has helped pay for more than 30 facade restorations since 2008, including three in 2012 on West Third Street. Along with Summit Wealth Management, Panache Salon & Day Spa and the former Maynard's Electric building were also restored.
''We're trying to extend the aesthetic look of Third Street,'' Buehler said. ''We saw the work being done on Third Street and started to feel we needed to be a part.''
Buehler said everyone involved in the project was great to work with, which made the renovation process easier.
''All partners involved worked well together,'' he said.
Schutte said the renovations to the building and the street has improved the look of the area since they first moved into the building in December 2007.
''It is light years ahead of what it used to look like. The road has transformed,'' he said. ''We're very pleased with the work. We get a lot of compliments. People are noticing.''
Schutte said when a representative from the home office of First Allied Advisory Services visited Jamestown, he was impressed with the upgrades.
''His job is to visit cities all over and the work stood out to him,'' he said.
Schutte said with the work done to their facade, they will now work on improving their driveway and parking lot in the back of the building, which they share with Kristie Schwab, Panache Salon & Day Spa owner.
