ASHVILLE - A weeklong grand-opening celebration will take place starting Tuesday at the area's newest spiritual, ceremonial and metaphysical store.
All My Relations opened earlier this month and will host a grand-opening celebration between Tuesday and Saturday. Shannon Godfrey, All My Relations owner, said during the celebration there will be giveaways, door prizes, refreshments and holiday sales. Godfrey's business, which is located at 2384 W. Lake Road, Ashville, sells ceremonial supplies, herbs, incense, crystals, jewelry, candles and organic soaps.
''The items are for medicinal and ceremonial purposes,'' Godfrey said. ''We have stuff from all different cultures.''

Godfrey said the items she has in her store people won't find in a big-box chain store.
''Before my shop, around here you can't find these items in stores. You would have to go online to buy,'' she said. ''Now people have the option of shopping here and people can purchase items from here cheaper than you can on the Internet.''
Godfrey said she will sell local merchant items on consignment. Plus, people who want to host a workshop on how to make items can also use the business.
''I believe everybody has special talents and gifts,'' she said.
Godfrey does sacred path readings to help people become more spiritually aware. She said there will also be meditation and drum circles held at All My Relations. The business also has free Wi-Fi service.
''We will have books for people. They are welcome to come in, read the books and relax. We will have coffee and tea available for people to enjoy, as well,'' she said.
Godfrey said she lived in Detroit before moving to Chautauqua County. She said the spiritual community drew her to the area. All My Relations is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
