To the Readers' Forum:
I noticed recently another letter defending the Tea Party. It was a nice piece of propaganda that involved the idea that the Tea Party can somehow help reform the National Grid.
Alas, the letter left alot of info about the Tea Party out. Conveniently. It left out the fact that the Tea Party wants to control whether women can get abortions, sometimes even in cases of rape. It left out the fact that the Tea Party wants to protect the very rich, by making sure their taxes stay historically low. It left out the inconvenient truth that the Tea Party thinks they can legally decide who can marry, and which types of stem cell research should be legal. The Tea Party is a group who claim that banning smoking in bars is 'big brother,' yet they have no problem regulating our bedrooms as well as medical science.
The Tea Party, as a whole, believes that the Christian Bible should shape our laws. I'll leave the reader to decide whether the Tea Party is dangerous.
