Ken and Maryann Balling of Bear Lake, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda, to Matthew Schwartz, the son of Jeff and Karen Schwartz of New Rochelle, N.Y.
Miss Balling is a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School, the State College at Oswego, and University of Buffalo Law School. She is employed as an assistant district attorney for Monroe County, N.Y. Her fiance is a graduate of New Rochelle High School, the State College at Geneseo, and Albany Law School. He is also employed as an assistant district attorney for Monroe County.
An October 2013 wedding is planned in Ellicottville, N.Y.
