Jack and Mary Keeney of Celoron, N.Y., celebrated their 50th Anniversary on June 23, 2012, with a surprise party at the Celoron Community Center. The celebration was hosted by their children: Michael and Maggie Keeney of Lockport, N.Y., and Kristine and James Swanson, and grandchildren: Nathan, Nicholas and Alyssa.
Keeney and the former Mary Janetos were married June 23, 1962, in Rochester, N.Y.
Keeney is retired from Panama Central School, and the current mayor of Celoron, N.Y. Mrs Keeney is retired from Southwestern Central School.
