CARROLL - Numerous charges have been lodged against a Frewsburg teenager accused of fleeing police and endangering the welfare of a child.
Clint E. Vinzant, 19, was arrested Dec. 6 by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department following a nearly three-month investigation. Police say they have identified Vinzant as the suspect who fled officers in a vehicle Aug. 16 in the towns of Kiantone and Carroll with a juvenile passenger.
Vinzant has been charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer, endangering the welfare of a child, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, reckless driving, and numerous vehicle and traffic violations.
Vinzant is being held in Chautauqua County Jail on $25,000 cash/$50,000 property bail and is to appear in the Town of Carroll Court at a later date.
The Town of Carroll Police Department assisted in the investigation.
