WILLIAMSVILLE - Jerry Daigler, Conner Mergler and Cameron McDonald were double winners as powerful Williamsville North (2-0) beat Jamestown (0-1-1), 64-37, in ECIC Division 1 boys swimming on Tuesday night.
Daigler won the 200 individual medley (2:10.98) and the 100 backstroke (56) while Mergler took the 200 freestyle (1:55.46) and 100 butterfly (58.6) for the winners. McDonald captured the 50 freestyle (22:47) and 100 freestyle (49.56) for the winners.
Jamestown had a number of seconds with Allan Smith placing twice in the runnerup positions of the 100 butterfly and the 200 freestyle. Matt Caldwell was also second in the 200 individual medley and the 100 breaststroke.
