GRANVILLE, N.C. - Mrs. Lydia B. Lindquist, 68, died Dec. 6, 2012, at Wake Medical Hospital.
Mrs. Lindquist was born in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of Evelyn Sample and the late Hugh Sample.
Mrs. Lindquist retired in 2008 from Neuse River Dialysis in Oxford, N.C. She was a member of New Horizon Church and served on the welcome committee.
Mrs. Lindquist is survived by her husband, Gary T. Lindquist; four sons: Christopher Lindquist, Barry Lindquist (Amber), Ken-neth Lindquist (Elaine) and Douglas Lindquist (Re-bekah); daughter, Veronica Evans (Dave); sister, Sue Barefoot; two brothers: Steven Sample and Tom Sample; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Sample and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, at noon at New Horizon Church with the Rev. Leah Rade and the Rev. Jamie McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. to noon at the church.
