CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

Stephen E. Simpkins, 21, of Ripley was charged with no/insufficient tail lamps, uninspected motor vehicle, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, and DWI per se .08 blood alcohol content or higher. On Sunday at 2:14 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle with insufficient tail lamps traveling on West Main Street in the town of Ripley. Deputies stopped the vehicle driven by Simpkins on Maple Avenue, and after further investigation placed him in custody for DWI. Simpkins was issued appearance tickets for the Town of Ripley Court and released to appear at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF

Autumn M. Larkin, 26, of Steamburg was arrested for false personation after giving deputies a false name and date of birth. Investigation revealed that she had given false information in order to avoid detection as she had outstanding warrants. Larkin is due back in court on the false personation charge and was turned over to the Salamanca Police Department on a bench warrant.

Eric W. Lindgren, 35, of Salamanca was arrested for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after being stopped for failure to signal a lane change. Investigation revealed that his operating privileges was revoked. There was also the presence of open beer cans in Lindgren's vehicle. He was additionally charged with failure to signal lane change, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and is due back in the City of Salamanca Court.

Donna K. Mohawk, 24, of Perrysburg was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. On Dec. 6, patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Perrysburg. Upon arrival, deputies observed a vehicle in the ditch on the south shoulder of the road with three occupants standing in the roadway. Open beer cans were scattered in the vehicle and roadway. There were only minor injuries. Mohawk was found to be the driver and was administered a field sobriety test. She was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. She was arraigned and is due back in court in the town of Perrysburg.

John O. Skye, 38, of Salamanca was arrested on Dec. 6 at his residence an indictment warrant charging him with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Skye was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail and held with no bail. He is due back in court at a later date.
