Jamestown Stop For Pirates Winter Caravan Is Sold Out

December 11, 2012
The Post-Journal

The Jamestown Jammers of the New York-Penn League have announced that tickets for the Pittsburgh Pirates Winter Caravan stop in Jamestown are sold out.

If you have not purchased a ticket, you will not be able to attend the event on Thursday at the Jamestown Community College student union and they will not be sold at the door.

"Ticket sales went very quickly and we are not only excited for this event, but what this interest means for the 2013 season as well," said general manager Matt Drayer of the Jammers, who are now a Pirates affiliate.

Scheduled to appear are Pirates manager Clint Hurdle and players Alex Pressley, Josh Harrison and Gaby Sanchez, who is a former Jammer. Also appearing will be broadcaster Tim Neverett.

The Pirates Caravan stop in Jamestown is replacing the Jammers annual hot stove dinner that typically takes place in January.

Ticket packages and season tickets are on sale now for the upcoming season. For information about the event or to inquire about ticket purchases for next year, call the Jammers front office at 664-0915.
