The Jamestown Elite 5-6 girls basketball team had a tough weekend, going 0-3 while competing in the age 7-8 bracket at the Peg Smith Tournament in Fredonia.

In the first game, Nativity from Orchard Park was a 49-27 winner as Erin Radack scored six points and had five steals and Allie Stockwell put up six points.

Fredonia's NCCS team topped the Elite, 33-23, in the second game with Hannah Frederick scoring six points, Stockwell added six points and Natalie Angeletti had four points and four rebounds.

In the final game, Hamburg's St Peter and Paul edged the Elite, 28-22.

Olivia Gates led the team with eight points and Frederick had six points and six rebounds.

The jamestown Elite is now 6-3 overall.
