Southwestern-Maple Grove finished the weekend with one loss and one victory in high school club hockey action.
In game one, Alden picked up a 4-2 win with Alexander Carlson and Tommy Gerace finding the net for SW-MG. Carlson earned the assist on Gerace's goal, along with Andrew Farnham. Ben Richard took the loss in goal.
The result in the second game was far better as SW-MG cruised to a 7-1 victory over South Park with all seven goals coming in the second period.
Tyler Chase tallied two goals while Tommy Gerace, Ryan Schutte, Branden Decker, Bryce Moyer and Joey Gerace each contributed a goal each.
Nate Stevens was credited with three assists, Tommy Gerace added two assists and Joey Gerace, Alexander Carlson, Chase, Farnham, Curtis Carlson, Elizabeth Gerace, Nick Brooker and Schutte all had one assist.
Richard earned the win in net.
