BATAVIA- The Lakewood Starz YMCA gymnastics team competed on Sunday in its first New York State League meet with six girls qualifying for the state competition to be held in Cortland later this season.
Among the six was Level 4 Ashlyn Saracki who took third place in the all-around competition with a score of 34.60.
Saida Bronner and Ellie Kreinheder also qualified for the state competition as Level 4's with all-around scores of 33.35 and 32.6.

Level 6 state qualifiers last weekend were Mikayla Johnson, who placed third in the all around (33.2) and Mariette Williams (30.85).
Morgan Johnson, also qualified for the state competition as a Level 8 with a first place all-around finish (32.8).
Scores for the Starz competitors were as follows:
Level 4: Ashlyn Saracki - vault 9.05, bars 8.25, beam 8.7 (2nd), floor 8.6 (3rd), all-around 34.6 (3rd); Saida Bronner - vault 8.55, bars 8.4, beam 8.15, floor 8.25, all-around 33.35; Ellie Kreinheder - vault 8.0, bars 8.15, beam 8.0, floor 8.45, all-around 32.6; Hannah Johnson - vault 8.9 (2nd place), bars 7.0, beam 8.0, floor 7.5, all-around 31.4; Brittany Kightlinger - vault 8.0, bars 8.1, beam 8.2, floor 6.85, all-around 31.15.
Level 6: Mikayla Johnson - vault 8.7 (2nd), bars 8.0 (2nd), beam 8.4 (1st), floor 8.1 (3rd), all-around 33.2 (3rd); Mariette Williams - vault 8.15, bars 7.7, beam 7.9, floor 7.1, all-around 30.85
Level 8: Morgan Johnson - vault 8.0 (1st), bars 7.8 (1st), beam 8.4 (1st), floor 8.6 (1st), all-around 32.8 (1st).
