The Busti Historical Society will hold its annual member Christmas dinner meeting in the form of a ham supper at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the museum basement.
Those attending should bring a dish to pass. Memberships and renewals will be available.
The society met for the regular election meeting on Nov. 7. Bob Schultz presented a slate of officers on behalf of the nominating committee. The slate was approved, electing the following officers for 2013: Carl Schultz (incumbent), president; Bob Schultz, vice president; Ann Schultz, secretary; Marti Gustafson (incumbent), treasurer; Steve Johnson (incumbent three-year term), trustee; Lee Sperry (incumbent three-year term), trustee; and Randy Hinsdale (two remaining years of term vacated by Bob Schultz), trustee.
Eugene Archer on behalf of the Busti Fire Department presented a report and check for admission at the Apple Festival.
Treasurer Marti Gustafson gave a final report on the Apple Festival.
Work is progressing on the Miller House and work on the Mill machinery will resume soon. A work day was set for the Miller House for concrete work which has since been accomplished.
Numerous other items of business were discussed.
The society will not meet again until March 6, but work sessions and trustees' meetings and committee meetings will continue through the winter.
