PORTVILLE - Thanks to weight-class champions Dakota Parkhurst, Jeff Andrews and Chris Doubek, the Randolph Cardinals won the Portville Wrestling Tournament for the second time in the past three seasons.
Parkhurst edged Skaneateles' Joey Brillo, 4-3, at 106 pounds, Andrews flattened John Navarro of Sweet Home in 4:58 in the 220-pound bout and Doubek decisioned Ryan Hurlburt of Dansville.
Three other Cards also reached the finals of the 12-team event and finished second. Dennis Andrews was the runnerup at 195 pounds, Jimmy Carr at 182 and Chris Buvoltz at 170.
Rounding out the list was Pat Kibbe, who pinned Franklinville's Dillon Bash in 2:13 in the heavyweight battle.
