OLEAN - Will Soffel and Aaron Germain were selected to the all-tournament team as the Maple Grove boys (1-1) placed second in the Olean Tip-Off Basketball Tournament on Saturday afternoon
Olean junior forward Will Bathurst delivered 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds en route to most valuable player honors as the Huskies (2-0) prevailed over Maple Grove, 79-37, for the championship game victory.
Bathurst was joined on the all-tournament team by teammates Pat Scholla and Sam Eckstrom. Also named to the game was John Lewis of Buffalo East.
Olean (2-0) led 41-17 at halftime and really took charge with a 29-4 third quarter for a 70-21 advantage over the Red Dragons.
