A 20-year-old city woman is facing two charges for her role in creating a three-car accident that sent two other drivers to WCA Hospital for treatment.

According to Jamestown police, around 11:27 a.m. Friday, Katie Caldwell pulled her vehicle into traffic from a parked position on the side of the road on the 800 block of East Second Street. As Caldwell pulled into the lane of traffic heading eastbound the driver-side of her vehicle was struck by another vehicle traveling eastbound on East Second Street.

While Caldwell's vehicle was pushed to the right, the vehicle, operated by a 34-year-old Jamestown resident, was forced into the westbound lane of East Second Street where it was struck head-on by a third vehicle.
