John and Debbie Pavlock of Jamestown, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie, to Julian Nicholas, the son of Elizabeth and James Cosimo and Joseph Nicholas, all of Cortland, N.Y. Miss Pavlock is also the granddaughter of the late Roberta Green and the late Edward and Elaine Pavlock. Her fiance is the grandson of Carol O'Rourke and Arline Nicholas.
Miss Pavlock is a graduate of Gannon University with a doctorate in physical therapy. She is employed by CP Rochester as a physical therapy supervisor. Her fiance is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed by Harris Corporation as a manufacturing quality engineer.
A May 2013 wedding is planned.
