This week the Chautauqua County Humane Society is featuring "Max" and "New Mexico." Max is a 6-year-old beagle. He loves everybody, but can get a little upset if left alone too long. He likes going for walks and getting petted. He would do best with a family where he could be with someone most of the time. New Mexico is a 2-year-old short-hair cat. He gets along with the cats in the CCHS's colony. He is very playful and likes to be a greeter when someone walks in. He loves everyone, but has a soft spot for kids.
