A Jamestown woman is in city jail today following a stabbing Thursday night.
Twenty-five-year-old Christina C. Maddox was charged with second-degree assault following a domestic incident on Lakeview Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. Police were called to the scene for a report of a violent domestic dispute in progress. Once they arrived, officers learned that Maddox and the male victim were involved in a physical fight. During the incident, Maddox allegedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen with a large kitchen knife.
The victim was taken to WCA Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
