Bernice E. Danielson, 101, formerly of Loyalton and Baker Street Extension, died Wednesday, Dec 5, 2012, in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born Jan. 5, 1911, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of Samuel and Lucille Hickock Johnston.
Bernice was a graduate of Masten Park High School in Buffalo. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lakewood-Busti Senior Citizens, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and Willow Run Golf Course.

Surviving are three daughters: Shirley (Richard) Ingraham of Bemus Point, N.Y., Marilyn Moreland of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Taos, N.M., and Carol Danielson of West Hampton Beach, N.Y.; seven grandchildren: Mark Sleggs of Lakewood, N.Y., Gary (Dr. Rita Ryan) Sleggs of Orchard Park, N.Y., Todd Sleggs of Cleveland, Ohio, Lance Scorse of West Hampton Beach, N.Y., Nancy Scorse of Vermont, Michelle Moreland of Santa Fe, N.M., and Lisa Scorse of New York; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Danielson, whom she married Oct. 8, 1930, and who died Nov. 23, 1991; a grandson, Michael Moreland; a brother, Clyde Johnston; and two sons-in-law: Alton (Tony) Sleggs, and Dr. Morey Moreland.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
