Gladine L. Lincoln

WESTFIELD - Gladine L. Lincoln, 91, of 34 Academy St., Westfield, N.Y., died Tuesday (Dec. 4, 2012), at Absolut Care of Westfield.

She was born March 15, 1921, in Dewittville, N.Y., the daughter of the late Grace (Shoemaker) and William Clark.

Gladine enjoyed reading, puzzles, music, traveling, cards, playing board games with the grandchildren, and embroidering. Most of all she enjoyed picnics and holiday gatherings with her family.

She was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6764 Auxiliary of Westfield.

She is survived by her daughter, Lillian (Earl) Saunders of Westfield; one son, Charles Raynor of Tennessee; one brother, Carlon Clark of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ho-ward Lincoln; her daughters: Merrie Smith and Nadine Newman; a son, Clarence Lincoln; a sister, Grace Brown-Kingsley; two brothers: Stanley Osborne and Guerney Clark.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. The Rev. Gary Henry will officiate. Burial will be in the Portland Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
